So, I just got an incredible new lens. It’s gigumbous and very attractive. But I don’t have another photoshoot until next week!!! Unacceptable. Thus, I set up this photoshoot to try it out… Words cannot describe how much I love my new lens. It is so sharp and crisp, the tones are incredible, and I will never stop using it. I also am editing my photos a bit differently. I think I’ve finally established my style, so that’s also pretty exciting. Hope ya’ll like the photos!
It was so fun getting to know Michelle through our photo session. I love learning about my clients in what they do and who they are. People interest me so much. The different ways they look, dress, the different things the like, and their personalities. The pictures were taken on a cloudy day, which gave us plenty of different lighting options! I thought Michelle kinda looked like Pocahontas… She didn’t seem to think so… Maybe it’s just me.

Well it has been a while… I really wish I was more consistent with my blog posting. It’s so much fun!
Ever since I discovered the perfect photoshoot location, I’ve been dying to bring everyone to it for a photoshoot! Finally, I was able to do one a few days ago. You can tell I was excited because I’m already posting the pictures! I hope you enjoy them!

You know… I’m starting to feel pretty good about myself. Can you believe that this girl came all the way down from Sacramento just to have me take her senior pictures!? Well, she didn’t… I mean, she does live in Sacramento, but she was down in San Diego for a different reason. But I mean, it’s pretty cool that she wanted me to do her senior pictures! Haha. Anyway, this is Bethany. I absolutely love these photos. It was so great to use my studio for the first time with a paying client. It’s also very nice when the client has an extremely awesome younger sister to be my assistant and a mom that buys you Starbucks. Just Saying…
